Hello and welcome to our new website! We are excited to be finally branching out into the world of online publishing, and to launch this new space dedicated to publishing work that can’t be printed on the page—interactive fiction, hypertext writing, code poetry, bots and generative text works, writing with sound or video elements, full-colour comics or comics with animated elements, and much much more. Very soon this site will begin to fill with the some of the best and coolest digital writing that young Australians have to offer.

We are officially launching the website in partnership with the Digital Writers’ Festival from October 30th to November 2nd. In honour of the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s seminal Gothic horror tale Frankenstein, we explore the hybrid and monstrous nature of digital media with Frankenletter—five days of Frankenstein-themed writing. Each day during the Digital Writers’ Festival, a new piece of digital writing will be delivered to your inbox along with a behind-the-scenes look at how the piece was created.
